Twisted World — Description

Wearable art around the neck.

Each strand was constructed separately, twisting multiple strands of different gemstones together, like the twisted world of Iceland. Raw nature, colours without rules.

The sterling silver chain at the back is an adjustable fit. It continues to fall down your back, a design that can be admired from both sides.

The sterling silver quartz cross completes the necklace, holding on the twisted strands together. The cross hangs from its own decorative chain, made of moonstone beads connected with zirconium, shiny polished gemstone hugged by sterling silver, to make a connector that creates the chain.

The Story Behind Twisted World

Travelling to Iceland was an incredible experience. I was fascinated by the raw beauty of its nature, the volcanic landscapes and the incredible colours surrounding me.

Every part of Iceland felt different. Travelling through the island was like discovering a new planet at every turn. The mountains, the landscapes, the colours — everything kept changing, and every place left me with a different feeling.

I wanted to bring something from Iceland back home with me. Not just photographs, but the feeling of being there, surrounded by nature without rules.

I wanted to capture those memories in a piece of jewellery, bringing together the different colours and landscapes that had inspired me throughout my journey.

I imagined a bold statement necklace, something that could be worn with even the simplest outfit and become the centre of attention. A piece of wearable art with its own character and story.

Twisted World is my memory of Iceland — nature without rules, and many different worlds held together in one design.
